PRESS RELEASE - DECEMBER 10, 2016
For Immediate Release
WASHINGTON STATE HOT ROD HALL OF FAME SEEKS AUTOMOTIVE ARTWORK
Seattle, WA (10 December, 2016) – David Dickinson, Curator
The Washington State Hot Rod Hall of Fame Art Show selection committee is currently seeking automotive artwork for the 2017 international art show raffle to be held during its annual awards banquet.
A variety of art may be contributed for the show. Art is auctioned off and 100% of the proceeds go to our selected charity.
This year, our beneficiary will be Child Strive, formerly The Little Red Schoolhouse. Child Strive partners with families to support young children’s success in daily life and in the community. Their vision is that ALL children will be ready to succeed in school and in life. Find out more at http://childstrive.org/.
Original artwork, prints of original artwork, photo art, etc. should be no larger than 20”X30” and signed by artist. Other art work, such as sculptures and pinstriped objects should be of a manageable size. Include some marketing materials to display with your work. This would provide great exposure to a pretty high end group of automotive enthusiasts at our annual awards banquet and art show.
The Hall of Fame asks that pinstriping works be presented on objects other that flat panels, but on more creative and unique objects such as bottles, bowling pins, toolboxes, or… how creative can you get?
Please call me at 206-354-8347 to discuss. Thanks in advance.

Annual Awards Banquet 2017 recap.
WHAT A NIGHT!! Seven well deserving inductees were honored at the awards banquet on April 8, 2017. Congratulations to David Dickinson, Susan Freund, Sue Limbo, Elizabeth Kiteley, Doug LaVictoire, Ron Muhlemann and Dave Tatom.
As we honor our inductees we must also acknowledge the future. We honored a young rodder, Chris Fleury. We also awarded the Dick Page Memorial Rodder award to Jeremy Love.
As we look further in the future, the Wahington State Hot Rod Hall of Fame Scholarship program is continuing to grow. This program is really taking off and helping deserving young students with their education in the automotive and related field. We awarded 10 scholarships this year.
The Old Rides Car Club presented an Honorary membership to Jose Enisco Sr.
Top Secret Customs was awarded the builder of the year award.
ChildStrive was the recipient of the Art Raffle this year. They were presented with thousands of dollars from the proceeds of the Art Raffle. Thank you to all the artists that submitted these beautiful and unique pieces of art. Your generous donations and the success of this raffle assists charities for kids.
This year we added a Community Service Award and presented it to Steve Meyers, Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
